Settle is a personal finance tracker. Your accounts, categories, transactions, transfers and recurring rules are stored on your device, in a local database. There is no Settle account, no Settle server, and no copy of your finances held by us. We cannot see your data.
Settle connects to exactly three things. Two of them only happen if you choose them.
Settle fetches public exchange rates from
open.er-api.com. This request
contains nothing about you: no identifier, no amounts, no account details. It
asks for today's rates and nothing else. As with any internet request, the rate provider may see
your device's IP address; that is standard for network connections and is handled under that
provider's own privacy policy.
Bank sync is optional and part of the Pro subscription. If you turn it on:
api.monobank.ua), to authorise your requests. It is never sent to us, never
included in an export or backup file, and never written to a log. Disconnecting deletes it.
monobank is your own bank, and this connection is between your device and them. What they do with your data is covered by monobank's own privacy policy.
Settle Pro is sold through the App Store or Google Play, and subscription status is checked through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives:
RevenueCat never receives your financial data, your transactions, or your bank token. It is used solely to tell the app whether your subscription is active.
Erasing all data in Settings removes your local database, your saved bank token and the app's copies in iCloud. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. To cancel a subscription, use the App Store or Google Play — deleting the app does not cancel it.
Settle is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
